Equal Employment Opportunity

In accordance with the Maryland Department of Transportation's (MDOT) Equal Employment Opportunity(EEO) Policy, the Maryland Port Administration's (MPA) policy prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, religion, physical and mental disability, National origin, genetic information, or marital status. The Office of Fair Practices (OFP) is responsible for enforcing this policy, in accordance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), to ensure that all employees and prospective employees are treated fairly.

In the event that you feel you have been discriminated against, such as:

  • Unequal training opportunities
  • Sexual harassment- inappropriate touches, innuendos, request for favors or promotions
  • Retaliation
  • Terminations based on one of the prohibited bases
