Commission meetings are held once a month and include a session open to the public. Members of the MPC are appointed by the governor and are asked to serve at least a three-year term. Current members of the MPC are Peta N. Richkus, William Dockser, Donald C. Fry, Theodore Venetoulis, Charles H. White, Jr., and Rev. Donte Hickman. The Maryland Secretary of Transportation chairs each MPC meeting.
